I grew up in Pretoria, Gauteng, where my passion for martial arts took root at an early age. What began as a childhood hobby quickly evolved into a lifelong dedication. Throughout my school years, I trained relentlessly, competing in my weight category and earning championships along the way.
After school, I pursued a degree in electrical engineering, but martial arts was always my true passion. Even while studying, I never stopped training and competing, driven by a deep connection to the discipline. I was also drawn to the military, with an interest in tactical skills and the soldier’s ethos.
Seeking new opportunities, I moved to Cape Town to complete my practical year in electrical engineering. It was there that I unexpectedly found myself in the film industry, starting as a background performer. This initial exposure opened my eyes to the world of production, and soon, I discovered the stunt department—a perfect intersection of my martial arts training and tactical interests. This realization led me to embrace stunt performance, a career I’ve passionately pursued for the past decade, striving to become the ultimate warrior on screen.
In the world of stunt performance, mastering martial arts, tactical techniques, and the use of specialized equipment is essential. Every day, we step into the roles of soldiers and other characters, navigating real-life risks with precision. While the stories we tell on screen are fictional, the dangers we face are very real. My mission is to bring an unmatched level of safety and authenticity to the screen, while honoring the real soldiers who inspire my craft.

Originally from Pretoria, I grew up immersed in sports like rugby, swimming, and martial arts—and, like many, a bit of drinking too. After school, I joined the military, which took me to Bloemfontein for training and eventually across South Africa and much of Central and Southern Africa.
I served as a paratrooper for over a decade, specializing in reconnaissance operations. My experience includes anti-poaching missions in remote wilderness areas, peacekeeping operations in the Congo, and counter-insurgency deployments in Mozambique. I also worked as an instructor, training personnel in air assault tactics, helicopter fast-roping, combat lifesaving, care under fire, and hemorrhage control.
I bring a comprehensive skill set built on years of front-line and instructional experience.
Now transitioning into the private security sector, I focus on maritime security, VIP protection, and related training, as well as the testing and distribution of tactical equipment.
